Music played an important part of Rollo’s life since schooldays. Mostly playing MOR music in pubs and clubs. Until one day he discovered the Blues. During the mid-1990s, he ate, slept and studied blues and African-American culture, and rehearsed until his fingers bled. Then he was out on the road and touring for the next fifteen years.
Rollo’s featured and headline appearances include festivals at: Colne, Burnley. Sheffield, Rotherham. Romily (Fr), Madrid Raices Ritmo (Sp) Isle of Wight Festival, Humber Mouth Literature Festival, Bath International Guitar Festival, Beverley Folk Festival and Southsea Blues & Roots Festival.
His concerts include appearances with Eric Bibb, Peter Green, Ian Siegal and Country Joe McDonald (of Woodstock fame) and he hosted the acoustic stage at The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival, Colne for four years, and a regular performer at the Lincolnshire Wolds Collective events (Ecofest, Small World, Lin Du)
